Simon's just spent three days at the New Forest Show and took the On The Banks Of Hatchet Pond books along with him, and is pleased to report that lots of them found new homes with new children.

Simon was drawing cartoons there as part of the Longdown Activity Farm tent, and was pleased to meet one boy who said On The Banks Of Hatchet Pond was his favourite book, and please could he have a cartoon of Podge - Simon was more than happy to oblige.

You can meet both Simon and Val at the Alresford & District Agricultural Show on Saturday 7th September in the Arts & Crafts marquee where they'll be book signing and no doubt Simon will be doodling too. Do go along and see them.
